Engineering fire safety
the way lives depend on it.

For over three decades, IES has been the specialist Egyptian institutions call when a fire system simply has to work — the first time, every time.

Our story

Built in 1991 on a single principle: fire safety is not a product, it's a discipline.

Integrated Engineering Systems was founded in Mohandessin, Giza, at a time when Egypt's rapid growth in banking, aviation and industry demanded fire protection engineered to international standards — not improvised.

From our first bank branch to nationwide programmes for the National Bank of Egypt, we've held to one idea: every detector, valve and cylinder is part of a life-safety system, and it is designed, installed and maintained as one. That discipline is why global operators like BP, Shell and Schlumberger, and institutions from ministries to international airports, have trusted us with the buildings they cannot afford to lose.

Milestones

A track record measured in decades.

1991

Founded in Mohandessin, Giza

IES opens its doors as a specialist fire detection and firefighting contractor, serving Egypt's growing banking and commercial sector.

1990s

Banking becomes our backbone

Early work with Egyptian and international banks establishes IES as a trusted name for vault, data-centre and branch protection — from fire alarm to clean-agent suppression.

2000s

Into oil, gas & aviation

IES delivers fire systems for BP, Shell, Schlumberger and Misr Petroleum, and secures aviation-grade suppression at Sharm El Sheikh International Airport, Terminal 2.

2010s

Nationwide programmes

The National Bank of Egypt roll-out grows to 30+ locations from Cairo to Marsa Matrouh — the largest banking fire-safety programme in our history.

Today

35 years, and building

From the New Administrative Capital to Smart Village data centres, IES continues to engineer fire safety for Egypt's most critical new infrastructure.

What we stand for

Principles that hold under pressure.

Life-safety first

Every decision is judged against a single question: will this protect people and property when it matters? Compliance is the floor, not the ceiling.

Engineering rigour

Hydraulic calculations, agent concentrations, detector spacing — we design to NFPA and EN 54, and we prove it on paper before it's built.

Accountable for life

We don't hand over and disappear. Systems are commissioned, documented and maintained — many client relationships now span decades.

One accountable contractor

Detection, suppression, pumps and integration delivered under one roof — no gaps between trades where safety can slip through.

Right agent, right risk

FM200 for a vault, foam for a fuel store, water mist for a hall — we specify the suppression technology the hazard actually calls for.

Vigilance, always on

A fire system earns its value in the seconds of an emergency. We build and service ours to be armed and reliable, year after year.

How we work

From risk assessment to lifetime care.

01

Survey & risk assessment

We study the facility, its occupancy and its hazards — then define the detection and suppression strategy the building genuinely needs.

02

Engineering & design

Full system design to NFPA and EN 54: detector layouts, agent concentrations, hydraulic calculations, pump sizing and shop drawings.

03

Supply & installation

Procurement of certified equipment and precise installation by our own crews — coordinated with main contractors and MEP trades.

04

Commissioning & handover

Testing, integration and documented commissioning, with client training so operators know exactly how their system behaves.

05

Maintenance & support

Scheduled inspection, servicing and re-commissioning that keep systems compliant and ready — for the life of the building.
